Originally from California, I moved to Oregon in 1991 and consider it home. The natural beauty, change of seasons, and sense of community drew me to the northwest, and there’s no place I’d rather be.

Soon after relocating, I became a shelter volunteer at the Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood. Since then, all of my fur babies have come from C.A.T., including my current duo. Charlie and Noah are wonderful companions and fill my home with love and laughter.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to OPB radio and watching BBC TV shows like Downton Abbey, All Creatures Great and Small, Call the Midwife, and Grantchester. One of my favorite pastimes is searching for treasures at thrift stores, and on Ebay and Etsy.

Inspiration

How far you go in life depends on being tender with the young,
compassionate with the aged,
sympathetic with the striving,
and tolerant of the weak and strong.
Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.
